Our Third Year homeroom was the room
to the left of the stairs at the end of this
corridor. To that room came Llena
Buenvenida, Mrs. Jesena, Mrs. Armada,
Pag-asa Javier, and Miss Cabalfin.
Between Malthus and the law of supply and demand, we learned about Mrs. Armada's son Stephen having a fever, going to the doctor - and "the chaos, confusion, and uproar" there.....
.....and in Geometry class we sat very very still. We - most of us - wanted to be invisible so we wouldn't be called to explain the proof of a theorem on the board, but we didn't quite succeed.
Outside we cleaned the area covered by two or three or Miss Cabalfin's jumps, for "Do-day" (one absence from flag ceremony = one jump....we measured the height of the flagpole and the main building....and we dressed up for Junior-Senior prom....dancing in the square just down below...
