.....preparing fried chicken at the homes of Miss Lourdes Villaluna and Mrs. Nellie Aquino, for our Christmas festival dinners
.....Dean Abelarde surprising us just before Chemistry class, demanding to know who brought a transistor radio (now it can be told: it was actually a tiny turntable brought by Tita Sabandal!)-
......Tita bringing her long-playing record of "West Side Story" everyday for a year, it seemed.
.......Going en masse to see a Tagalog movie at Dalisay theater; and reciting snippets of dialogue from said movie many years hence. (Noel's favorite was: What? Kapatid? She - our sister? Oh no! Grandma, Grandma!)
.....Playing "spirit of the glass" and scaring ourselves silly
......Creating our own short-lived newspaper entitiled "The Daily Ewul-ewol"
