JEEPS AND STREETS

Sometimes the people from Jaro and La Paz got the jeep at San Agustin so they could go the looong way, all the way up to UI near the Central Market before heading back.

In the mornings, they got off at the corner of Calle Delgado and San Agustin- not far from Mrs. Soriano's then magnificent home - and took another jeep to Infante or
Ybiernas.

Jeeps cost 10 centavos a ride.

We passed the TB facility where we went for fluoroscopy at the start of each school year - where they checked for "thpoth in the lungth" (Neema).
